Harry,
Don't know about the timepiece issue, but I'm sure the time slips
the crew put in did not shortchange themselves. If they had a good run
(less than 8 hours) and were working on mileage, they would bill on
mileage, if on o.t., they would convert the overtime (if any) to miles
by formula.
