Modeling somewhat faithfully (but not precisely) the N&W system — all steam; coal unit consist; J engine passenger train; mountainous terrain; coal mine. Trying to determine whether I should run a 2-8-2 Mikado with N&W livery on the tender on a N&W modeled layout.
Sounds like geographically close, but so far no N&W livery on the prototype steam engine.
Thinking I’ll apply the rule, “It’s my layout, I can do what I like and if someone else doesn’t like it she can keep her opinion to herself.”
