Winston Salem Southbound

Were any of these WSS Mikados of USRA design or clones? If so, heavy or
light?

Some years ago I did a "what if" using the Mantua/Tyco mechanism, Cary
boiler, and Mellor conversion, plus a NPP tender and a WHOLE BUNCH of
CalScale, Kemtron, Bowser, and Cary detail parts to make a "what if" the
N&W had gone with USRA clone heavy Mikes instead of the K3 4-8-2.  Turned
out pretty well given my skill set at that point in time.  Would be
interesting to compare with the WSS locos.
