Looks like Wilsons,VA. It is between Blackstone and Petersburg on the N&W. But I maybe wrong.....

I am also trying to figure out where this photo location is.  This was in 1984, on the return leg of an Alexandria - Norfok round trip.  I was working in the Queen & Crescent Club commissary car in those days.
