Trestle Info Needed

Bill:If you haven't tried it, go to the NWHS website andsearch for Watauga, VA. There are photos of train crossing trestleson the Abingdon Branch AND there's a listing for drawingHS-G10884 by the Virginia & Carolina RR which is currentlylocated at GOB-East.  NOT the bridges you inquired about,but, with a bit of help, I was able to determine that Bridge #3was 230 feet in length.  Could be that the drawing also showslength for the trestles you asked about.   An undated RadfordDivision track chart indicates Bridge #7 was 637.5 feet long andBridge #8 was  300.5 feet long.
