Z1b 1448 in Hagerstown, MD July 31, 1937.  Check out the added piece in front of the typical N&W pilot.
There is a second Z1b behind 1448.  The "plow" pilots were a big deal on Western Maryland where the function was to knock fallen rocks out of the way.  When N&W power starting running through on WM in the late 1960's via P&WV the lack of the plow pilot on diesels got them in trouble.
