Might be a great time to ask Virtual Railfan to place a camera or two around Roanoke.  Their live stream cameras are 

excellent and many are free on Youtube.

The Virginia's Rail Heritage Region Rail Cam


Roanoke, Virginia looking east under 2nd Street Bridge (Commerce St)

has not been viewable for several weeks, or even months.  Does anyone know why this is so and whether any thing can be done to reactivate it?
