Griffin Iron Mines, 7 Miles South of Roanoke, 1899

The Griffin Mine was actually situated adjacent to the Rorer Iron Mine and
Trout Mine. Here is a map from the Virginia Iron Coal and Coke Company,
successor to all local mining companies by the time of this drawing.
