In case anyone is wondering what the real thing actually looks like, this is mine off 1236. Took me a bit to find it, I placed it on top of the washing machine to photo. 
 
There is another variety which has a narrower oval, which I believe Ron Muldowney will post later.
 
Know what you are buying folks, don’t waste your money on garbage.

These are fakes to my knowledge, my class A plate from 1236 is clean, sharp and the “A” is shaped correctly. This appears to me to be something someone totally made up. If someone else knows more, please let me know. There is zero wear around the holes, the shape of the A is not like any I’ve ever seen.

I’d hate to see someone buy something like this expecting the real thing.
