I have a feeling that most of you relate "pushers" to the Blue Ridge, Walton to Christiansburg or Farm to Bluefield grades. However, trains were also pushed on the rolling seventy six miles from Roanoke to Lofton, Va. of the Shenandoah Div.
It was done by "experience"!
