     Correct me if I am wrong, the 7" hooter was the original freight 
whistle and the 12" hooter was the original passenger whistle until the 
Hancock whistle came along. Then the 12" hooter was the freight whistle, 
the Hancock was the passenger whistle and the 7" whistle was discontinued.
