Larry,
I wanted to clear up a statement that I just wrote. I reread the WSLS 10 TV report and it was the VMT that announced the movement of the 611 to PA. The interview in the TV footage about any future 611 excursions was with the current NS man in charge. So I guess the VMT should be credited for l letting the cat out of the bag. I have to believe that the NS man in charge knew that the VMT made the announcement since both were in the same WSLS 10 News story. We will see what coverage the Roanoke TV stations give the actual movement when it takes place.

Larry,
WSLS 10 TV has already let the cat out of the bag. View their TV broadcast that I sent out. Appears that they got the info from NS. I don’t think that anyone will try to sabotage the movement. Probably will be in tow behind a NS diesel. I predict that it will be announced on multiple railfan groups and Facebook once the date gets closer. I’m not a member of any internet railfan groups or on Facebook. Thanks for your thoughts.
Best,
Norris

Greetings,
If anyone knows the date and time the N&W J611 will be transferred to PA. please let me know. It would be helpful to know the route that it's taking. I do not want any of this information from anyone if it will get anyone in trouble with NS. I do plan on sharing it with railfans that have asked for this information especially after viewing this segment on WSLS 10 News in Roanoke, VA.
Do not trespass on NS property.

Norris
