State seeks input on New River rail sites

Jimmy,

Much appreciated for the extra homework you did to get the link for this 
survey. Very informative. I submitted a response. It seems that the 
actions of NS and VA has officially ended any possibility of a station 
location on the NS's Christiansburg District (former N&W main). Seems to 
me the biggest limitation of a 'Merrimac' station location is future 
extension of service to the west (i.e. Bristol).

     In this past Monday 12/27/2021 issue of the Roanoke Times, there was 
an article titled "State seeks input on New River rail sites". The 
article did not list an online link to access the web site. I have sinc 
ebeen in contact with the author of the article and he has provided me
