A great set of photos! However, I will point out that numbers 14, 18 and 46 are of the Norfolk and Portsmouth Belt Line at Barnes Road in South Norfolk with what is now the Cargill facility in the background. The tank farm, and fence adjacent to the tracks are also still in place.

Cornell University has 60 photos taken at Portlock, Sewell's Point and Lamberts Point (three webpages, 20 images per webpage.)  All are identified as having been taken in 1960, but that appears to be an approximate number someone pulled out of the air. They also appear to be amateur-grade photos, as far as composition and sharpness, but shucks, any photos of the railroad 60 years ago are worth a gander.
