North Fork (Re: location)

Jim,

The 439 is on the east ladder of Byrd Yard in North Fork, WV. The heavy 
rail at the bottom of the frame is the westbound main line. The 
low-profile tank is the 100,000gal version of a 200,000gal tank. It 
supplied two standpipes that serviced both mains and the North Fork 
Branch. The 439 and the 396 were regular power on the North Fork Hollow 
Passenger Run. Nice shot.
