Thank you Frank. Did your RR travels have you arriving or departing 
Decatur often?

If the date is correct then this would be the last westbound Wabash 
Cannon Ball, Train 301, Detroit to St. Louis. If on time it would be 
approximately 1:30 PM with 3 more hours to the end.

Hello, John:

Decatur, Illinois. The former Wabash station is at the right and so the 
train is heading westbound/southbound, probably going to St. Louis on 
its final run. WABIC tower is in the background. Probably a trainmaster 
and/or a road foreman of engines with their characteristic head-wear.
