The pedestrian bridge, with a water or sewer pipe under it, ran from near the end of 6th St  in downtown Lynchburg above the N&W tracks and Blackwater Creek to near Caskie Paper Company on Cabell St. This  is 2/10 of a mile or so west of Union Station and generally blocked from view from the station by the Williams Viaduct.
