By the courtesy of our colleague, Mr. Bradley Knapp, C.E., a retired railroad civil engineer (of Bessemer & Lake Erie pedigree,) we have this excellent map of Norfolk to offer.
https://freepages.rootsweb.com/~vancgenealogyrecords/genealogy/Maps/1940%20map/1940.htm
The map is undated, but appears to be circa 1950. All the railroad routes (N&W, VGN, NS RR, ACL, SAL, N&PBL, PRR and that other outfit, what is it called... the Southern?), yards and junctions/crossings are identified, as well as streets. Like many atlas maps, this one is in segments (16 of them,) and each segment can be downloaded as a JPG file of about 1 Meg in size. The website is easy to use and you don't have to fight it with it.
