Tender Front-End Stenciling

Hi everyone. I’m looking into the lettering that was placed at the front end (facing the cab) of N&W tenders, specifically prior to 1941. 

I’ve found several drawings in the archive that show the arrangement of the coal boards, which also indicate the lettering on the coal boards:

Note that the earlier wording is SAFETY FIRST | SAVE FUEL
Later wording is: SAFETY FIRST / SAVE FUEL (left board) | BLACK SMOKE / IS WASTE (right board)

These two revisions are during timeframes that are on either side of my time frame. The drawings themselves may say more (they are on order), but does this group know if there was any additional stenciling on the water legs? Especially pre-1941?

Microscale decal set 87-106 (link here <https://www.microscale.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Session_ID=012d71d34c92859efc8bbc5d79880741&Screen=PROD&Product_Code=87-106&Store_Code=MD&search=Norfolk&offset=&filter_cat=&PowerSearch_Begin_Only=&sort=&range_low=&range_high=>) have additional lettering like “Always be careful” and “Emergency Brake Valve”, and I’m confident they did their research, but it’s not clear where these go, and in what era they were used.
