diner vents

 So far as I know, all D1's were identical.

 The attached photo shows the roof of a D1 diner (bottom center).

  The vent pattern appears asymmetrical and I am trying to figure out why this should be.   Do the vent positions correspond to the locations of stoves/ovens in the kitchen area?Were the vent locations consistent from one D1 to the next?Any information/thoughts will be appreciated.Jim Cochran________________________________________
