Does anyone know what color caboose 518676 (c31p) was when it went into service? We are restoring it and everything points to red. Some people say blue but I can,t find any info to confirm that. I can find pictures from 1973 of it being red. If it started blue can you tell me the date it painted red.

Art,518676 would have started service classed as a "C31" caboose at which point it was probably painted blue.When it was modified and it's classification changed to "C31P", it was then painted red.Jimmy LisleSent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone
