Hopper Paint Schemes in the 1970s

Detroit Edison built a new sub-Southfield, MI.  Was enclosed with concrete panels.  All the steel work was COR-Ten steel. Was great for about 15 years.  The steel rusted but the rust also went down to the bus insulators and coated them.  Started getting flash overs at the station.  Had to replace all the insulators and paint the steel above the insulators.
