<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=3>If anyone wondered why steam is shown apparently
being exhausted by the electric locomotive in this picture, a probably
explanation is that it is a result of the liquid rheostats that were used
to control the current flowing to the traction motors during the acceleration of
the locomotives to their synchronous speeds of 14 and 28 mph. The heavy
current passing through the liquid heated it considerably, and the liquid
had to be cooled, so it was circulated through a cooling tower in the
locomotive carbody where some of the hot liquid vaporized and was vented as
visible "steam."</FONT></DIV>

only do we have a semaphore on the first Catenary support, but there also
appears to be one on the fifth support also.<BR>Could the Bluestone River be
