aware that there were three rails between Bastian and Suiter, authorized
by N&W's William Obediah Tracy, so the lumber company's narrow gauge
equipment could use the line when N&W wasn't (at least we hope
so). Also, I was surprised to learn that the narrow gauge went 38
miles from Bastian almost to Burkes Garden in Tazewell County.<br>
