<DIV align=center><STRONG> Blast Near Panther Blows Stretch of
Norfolk and Western Track Into River</STRONG></DIV>

<DIV align=left> The contractors who are double tracking the
Norfolk & Western at Hull, near Panther, about sixty miles west of
Bluefield, put off a blast at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon, and blew a good
stretch of the main line into the river. The track that was not disturbed
was covered with debris for many yards.</DIV>
<DIV align=left> It was necessary to build a new track around
the obstruction, and traffic was delayed for several hours.</DIV>
