<DIV align=left> W. C. Walstrum, of Roanoke, superintendent of
telegraph on the Norfolk and Western, was in Graham yesterday on his private
car. Mr. Walstrum was accompanied by an expert electrician and they were
inspecting the new telephone recently installed by the railroad company.
The new phone has ten parts to it, but as only one of them is permitted to talk
at a time, it is thought the 'phone is a good one and will give
satisfaction.</DIV>
