<b>Photo Advisory: The Virginia Museum of Transportation’s Famed Class A
1218 Locomotive to move on May 8; return on May 10<br><br>
</b>(Roanoke, VA)—On Friday, May 8, Norfolk Southern will pull the Class
A 1218 Locomotive from the railyard at the Virginia Museum of
Transportation and move it down the tracks to the O. Winston Link Museum
where it will serve as the centerpiece for Celebration at the Station on
May 9. Movement will begin after 5pm. Norfolk Southern will return the
Class A 1218 to the Virginia Museum of Transportation by noon on Sunday,
May 10. Exact times are dependent on railroad operations. While the
Museum will not be open during these times, visitors are welcome to
gather in the Museum’s west parking lot or by the Railwalk to photograph
the Class A 1218 on the rails once more.<br><br>

<b>Virginia Museum of Transportation celebrates Rail Day with a full day
of festivities<br><br>
</b>(Roanoke, VA)—The Virginia Museum of Transportation presents Rail
Day, featuring guides, rides, food, live music, and fun activities for
all ages. Bring your camera! Rail Day will be held at the Museum at 303
Norfolk Avenue in Downtown Roanoke on National Train Day, May 9, 2009,
10am-5pm. Tickets are $8 for adults, $7 for seniors (60+), $6 for
children (3-11), or $10 for a joint ticket to the Virginia Museum of
Transportation and the O. Winston Link Museum (all ages) on May 9. Phone:
