enlargement of the Wilcoe yard on the Tug River branch of the Norfolk and
Western, will be completed in about a week, and the capacity of the yard is a
good deal more than doubled. Its old capacity was about 350 cars and
when the improvement is finished the yard will be capable of holding 1000
cars. The company is working a force of 300 men and rushing the
enterprise rapidly to completion.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV align=left><FONT face="Times New Roman"> Greater car
capacity at the Wilcoe yard was rendered necessary on account of the increased
output of the United States Coal and Coke Company. To facilitate the
handling of the company's business, the railroad people had to make this
provision.</FONT></DIV>
