Bag</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV align=left><FONT face="Times New Roman"> The telegraph
operator at Oakvale on the Norfolk and Western was struck Friday night by a mail
bag thrown from east bound passenger train No. 16, and for a time it was thought
that he was seriously injured. He was shaken up and shocked, but recovered
in a short time with nothing more serious than having the breath knocked out of
him. He got his breath back, however.</FONT></DIV>

precious articles about enginemen being struck and killed by mail cranes.
