<DIV><BR>The first hearing date for the Rural Retreat depot dispute has been set for Aug. 25 at 11 a.m. in Wythe County Circuit Court after the defense filed a request last month to have the town’s petition for condemnation dismissed.</DIV>
<DIV><BR>That request will be considered by a judge at the August hearing as Jack Weaver and Huckleberry Farms LLC seek to block Town Council’s move to seize Rural Retreat’s historic train station through eminent domain.<BR></DIV>
