<DIV align=left><FONT face="Times New Roman"> B. F. Dye, of
Richlands, road master for the Clinch Valley district, was in Graham
yesterday. Mr. Dye was completing arrangements for the annual inspection
of his division by the various section foremen of the road, which begins
today. Under this mode of inspection by the foremen, each man's section is
inspected by all of the foremen and the one showing the highest average is
awarded a money prize by the railroad company. This arrangement was
inaugurated several years ago, and has proven very satisfactory as the men are
encouraged by having each other view their work, and each foreman tries to beat
the other one and win the prize and receive the honor that goes with
it.</FONT></DIV>
