<DIV align=left><FONT face="Times New Roman"> There are rumors
to the effect that a new schedule is in course of arrangement which will
materially shorten the time between Norfolk and Columbus. No. 15 makes a
great many stops between Norfolk and Roanoke which could be cut out if a train
to do local work was put on. This is said to be contemplated.
Another project is to start No. 7 from East Radford instead of Bluefield and
have it do the local work to this point, further relieving No. 15 of making
stops. With this arrangement, it is claimed, a gain of about four hours
can be made between Norfolk and Columbus.</FONT></DIV>
