Roanoke</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>Ladies and gentlemen:<BR><BR>We are very pleased to announce
that today Amtrak and Norfolk Southern Corporation have approved the Fall
Excursions planned by the Roanoke Chapter of the National Railway Historical
Society.<BR><BR>At this time, tickets may be ordered <B><I>by mail
only</I></B> sent to the Roanoke Chapter’s P.O. box.<BR><BR>Please note that a
phone number for information or over-the-phone credit card orders is not
available at this time. When a phone line is established, a revised PDF
will be posted on the Chapter’s website, <A
href="http://www.roanokenrhs.org/excursions.html"
eudora="autourl">http://www.roanokenrhs.org/excursions.html</A>. If you
need additional information now, you may email your questions to me. We
expect that it will be about a week before a phone line is established.
No tickets may ever be ordered by email.<BR><BR>In any event, the information
sheet points out that the two types of First Class Service (Dome Class and
Lounge Class) may only be ordered by mail to the P.O. Box. These seats
are very limited.<BR><BR>Thanks for your interest in this major fund raiser
for historic rail preservation, and I hope to see you on
