and Western Railway Company today awarded contracts for various construction
work on the western division [<EM>Western General Division</EM>] as
follows:</DIV>
<DIV align=left> Strum & Adams, Columbus, Ohio, six miles
of track between Renick and Delano, Ohio.</DIV>
<DIV align=left> The E. G. Nare Bros. Co.,
Portsmouth, Ohio, seven miles of double track east of Piketon, Ohio.</DIV>
<DIV align=left> The Ryan Company, Lexington, N. C., eleven
miles of double track in Ohio, west of Davies.</DIV>
<DIV align=left> Moorman Bros. Co., Lynchburg, three and one
half miles of double track east of Devon, W. Va.</DIV>
<DIV align=left> Carpenter & Boxley, Roanoke, three and
one-fifth miles of double track west of Wharncliffe, W. Va.</DIV>
<DIV align=left> Lock Construction Company, Roanoke, three
miles of double track west of Wyoming, W. Va.</DIV>
<DIV align=left> J. H. Sherpell & Sons, Louisville, Ky.,
three miles of double track, including tunnels, east of Huger, W. Va.</DIV>
