The OML</TT></PRE><PRE style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt"><TT>was abandoned in segments. There was a quarry east of the James</TT></PRE><PRE style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt"><TT>River that N&W served well into the 70's. Eventually, the line</TT></PRE><PRE style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt"><TT>was abandoned from the quarry to Island Yard. Incidentally, had</TT></PRE><PRE style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt"><TT>the C&O/N&W merger been fulfilled, there was a planned connection</TT></PRE><PRE style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt"><TT>from the C&O at James to the N&W so that coal could be directed</TT></PRE><PRE style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt"><TT>to Lamberts Point. The abandoned line was visible from US 460,</TT></PRE><
