VIRGINIAN RAILWAY STATION ROANOKE<br>

The Roanoke Chapter, National Railway Historical Society (NRHS) requests

sealed bids for the Virginian Railway Passenger Station - Phase 1

Stabilization/ Renovation. <br>

The scope of work to be undertaken is stabilization and rehabilitation of

the train station exterior to include the abatement of asbestos and lead

paint, selective demolition, masonry repair, new trusses, wood decking

and temporary roof. <br>

This project is funded by TEA-21 funds through VDOT. <br>

Sealed bids will be received at 2:00 PM. on October 13, 2009 in the

office of Hill Studio at 120 West Campbell Avenue, Roanoke, VA.<br>

There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference held at the Virginian

Railway Station, 1402 South Jefferson Street, Roanoke VA 24016 on

Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 1:30 PM. <br>
