Pocahontas had a solarium end, but frequently did not run on the end, since
that end also had a diaphragm. The Arrow regularly ran with an observation,
which made switching complicated when they wanted to add a coach. By this time,
it was the only N&W train with an observation. The tavern-lounge-observation
(flat end) on the Tennessean was run mid train by this time, and all the old
