I am not doubting the use of 'consumption' or its meaning in the US but over here in the UK the word always meant tuberculosis / TB.<br>
It has never been used over this side of the pond to refer to cancer. This is an inetersting thread but I fear I am going off topic so will<br>
say no more.<br>
