Thanks for the repsonses. Close as they are I am interested in continuing this pursuit. I may just end up getting undec and going from there. Dave, you mention the trucks, are there any commercial trucks that are available that match, or closely match that of the T89 truck that those cars rode on?

I examined one at a local hobby shop when they first came out. The color looks pretty good, and the aluminum sash for the windows is nice, but as soon as I saw that the trucks were very wrong I didn't look any further. I'm perfectly capable of exchanging trucks, but clearly they've taken the Canadian prototype and put markings on that they think will sell. Nothing inherently wrong with that, other manufacturers have been doing that for generations, but for me spending that much money and then having to do the truck exchange was a show stopper.

I've seen other roadnames from Rapido, so I know the quality. I'm wondering how accurate they are to N&W? Color aside, which is always a hot topic with this group and with the PRR group, are teh cars done as a close-enough on prototype or a dead-on match, i.e. window arrangements and so-forth?

I'm looking at getting some coaches for an NS excursion and business train.

Regards,
Russ Goodwin
