helped Dixon with some of the photos and proof-read his text a couple of times
to make corrections, but knew nothing of the cover painting until I received the
finished book. Robert West does good work, but obviously worked from excursion
611 photos for the cover painting, and must have been in a hurry, since the
window arrangements on the passenger cars are not particularly accurate either.

a number of years, I worked very hard to make sure things were correct in his
books on subjects that I knew something about, not at his expense, but my own
interest in getting it right in print.<o:p></o:p></P>
