comment on these pix; but the photo of 123 in Prince&#8217;s book has the
commonwealth trucks with regular journal box lids, so that is probably what Ed
has identified on 129. And, yes, they did have roller bearings behind that
friction type box lid. And yes, there is a difference in the rivet pattern on
the bottom row. On the rebuilt (F) tanks it is straight. On the new (E) tanks
it hops up on the front part and a little hop up over the rear truck, same as

appears to have the original trucks from A #1200 - Commonwealth trucks with
roller bearings and regular journal box lids.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; They are
definitely Commonwealths and not T27s nor T40s; the maximum journal size for
this truck was the T40's 6X11s, and the K-2 tenders required 12 6
1/2x12s.&nbsp; Any comments, Jim N?</span><o:p></o:p></p>

Some K2's had rebuilt 22,000 gal. roll-top tenders (extra rivet-line and body
seam where water space was squared off and raised) and some had new build
22,000 gal.&nbsp; (no extra seam)&nbsp; You would need to look at pictures to
figure out which was correct for a certain loco number.<br>
