Stanford's Avery Aquatic Center from 10:00am to 1:00pm.<br>

Belardi pool opens to swimmers at 10am for lap swimming.
Swimmers should enter on West side of the pool - follow the blue
"Swim for Malaria" signs.</div>

<div>Olympic champion and world record holder Janet Evans who serves
on the athletes committee for FINA will speak at about 10:30, followed
by an info session about the 2006 FINA World Masters Championships at
Stanford in August. Coach Tim Edmonds will demonstrate good
starting techniques and swimmers will be able to try out the Stanford
starting blocks - an opportunity to swim in the pool that will host
the Masters World Championships. (The Stanford blocks are set at the
maximum height from the water - .75 Meters - one should dive from them
to get the experience of diving from<b> very</b> high starting
blocks).</div>

Swim for Malaria is sponsored by the 2006 Local Organizing Committee,
Stanford Masters Swimming and Speedo. All participants will
receive a Speedo "Swim for Malaria" cap - plus a great time
and a contribution to an important cause.</div>

<div>There will be mosquito netting on display so you can see what
$5.00 will buy.</div>
