MEETING</b></font></div>
<div>November 15, 2006</div>
<div>Our annual meeting will be the 15th of November at a
members house in Oakland, California. All members are welcome. If you
are interested in attending email the chairman.

vote on. It will be reporting of a very successful year and what we
can do to make it a better 2007.</div>

MEET</b></font></div>
<div>The first short course yards meet will be held in Reno, Nevada on
Saturday, December 2nd. It will be the Northwest Pool in Reno.</div>

<div>The 2007 Pacific Swim Coaches Clinic will be January 4-7 at the
Marriott Hotel, Napa California. Speaking there will be Guy Edison,
Randy Reese, Josef Nagy Scott Shea, Keith Moore and Mike
McDonald.</div>

CLINIC</b></font></div>
<div>Pacific officials clinic set for Jan. 6 in Alameda -- The
annual Pacific Swimming officials clinic is set for Saturday, January
6, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Gresham Center on Coast Guard
Island in Alameda.</div>

<div>This meeting is for people who are already officials.</div>

<div><font size="+1" color="#0000FF"><b>NEW REGISTRATION
YEAR</b></font></div>
<div>The 2007 USMS registration year is upon Pacific Masters. All club
and individual registrations expire on 31 December. From 1 November,
clubs and individuals can register for 2007. The individual membership
is $35 / year, the same as 2006 and includes a subscription to USMS
Swimmer Magazine, the Pacific Masters newslette. Membership also
includes a secondary accident insurance policy, borrowing privileges
from the video library and the privilege of participating in any of
our pool and open water events.</div>

<div>The 2007 individual application is available along with the 2007
Club and Individual Registration instructions and the Frequently Asked
Questions.</div>

<div>The 2007 Pacific Masters Club registration forms are also
available. Until a club registers for 2007, swimmers will not be able
to register into that club<font face="Helvetica" size="+2"
color="#000000">.</font></div>

PADS</b></font></div>
<div>There are touch pads that are available for sale. They will fit
into a 25 yard wide pool. The touch pads were only used at one meet
and are in very good condition. If you are interested please contact
Michael Moore at michael@pacificmasters.org. There are 22 Colorado
timing pads that are 78" by 35"</div>

<div>Get your turkey!! At the Pierce College Turkey Shoot Short Course
Meters meet on Sunday, November 19th, hosted by Southwest Masters.
This is the meet where the goal is to swim closest to your entered
time so you win the special award. 50s, 100s and 200s of every stroke,
plus the 400 IM and rare 400 and 800 relays.<br>

The pre-entry postmark deadline is Saturday, November 11th. The
entry<br>
fee is $3 for each individual event, plus a $10 surcharge per swimmer.
Deck entrants will pay an additional $10 entry fee.</div>
