[Pbrt-discuss] Couldn't get symbol "CreateLight"

Hi,

I built pbrt 1.03 on debian (sid) with gcc 4.3.3. 

Trying to render the file simple.pbrt from the CD I get the following error. 

Error: Can't open plug-in "/.../pbrt/src/bin/distant.so" 
(/.../pbrt/src/bin/distant.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64)
        Line 15, file simple.pbrt
Fatal Error: Couldn't get symbol "CreateLight" in 
Plugin /.../pbrt/src/bin/distant.so.
        Line 15, file simple.pbrt

The searchpath is set. 

I hope you can help me.
