1. TOWN MEETINGS
The Pride Center of NJ is one of dozens of organizations across New Jersey 
cosponsoring the historic town meeting series, to which you are all invited:  
"SUPPORTING ALL ROADS TO JUSTICE:  Marriage Equality in the Courts, Domestic 
Partnership in the Legislature."  Please try to attend one in your 
neighborhood!   Look for additional meetings to be scheduled in the Fall!
Mercer County:  Trenton, Monday, February 10 at 7:00 pm.  War Memorial, 
First-Floor Meeting Room.
Hudson County:  Jersey City, Wednesday, February 26 at 7:00 pm.  Grace Church 
Van Vorst, Gymnasium, 39 Erie Street.
Bergen County:  Teaneck, Thursday, March 6 at 7:00 pm.  Ethical Culture 
Society, 687 Larch Avenue.
Essex County-Maplewood:   Maplewood, Tuesday, March 18 at 7:00 pm.  DeHart 
Community Center, 120 Burnett Avenue.
Camden and Burlington Counties:  Haddonfield, Tuesday, April 8 at 7:00 
pm.  First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield, Fellowship Hall, 20 Kings 
Highway East.
Union County:  Summit, Tuesday, April 29 at 7:00 pm.  Summit Unitarian 
Church, 4 Waldron Avenue.
Cape May County:  Cape May, Tuesday, May 6 at 7:00 pm.  With GABLES 
at Congress Hall, Ballroom, 251 Beach Avenue.
Monmouth and Ocean Counties:  Asbury Park, Saturday, May 31 (Pride Weekend) 
at 4:00 pm.  Berkeley-Carteret Hotel, Oval Room, 1401 Ocean Avenue.

2. VALENTINE'S DINNER & DANCE
It's not too early to mark your calendars for a very special Valentine's Day 
Dinner Dance to be held on Saturday February 15th at the Holiday Inn at 
Jamesburg, 390 Foresgate Drive, Monroe, NJ.  Fabulous entertainment by 
Amazing Grace Little, Delicious hot buffet dinner, dancing!  $40 in advance 
only. Send checks payable to "Pride Center of NJ" to PO Box 5130, New 
Brunswick, NJ 08903. For additional information, call the Pride Center or 
Laura at 732-238-7535. A special room rate at the hotel is available.  Dinner 
menu includes: Chicken Francaise, Beef Tips in Madeira Sauce, Penne Pasta, 
Eggplant Rollatine, Roasted Potatoes, Vegetables, Dessert, Beverages. 

3. OUT OF THE BOX
Join us for an Open-Mic for musicians, poets, dancers, singers, comedians, 
tragedians, etc...  on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 21st at 8:00 pm at the Pride Center 
of New Jersey, 1048 Livingston Avenue, North Brunswick.  $5/$3 for students. 
Light gnosh and low-octane beverages provided.  Everyone Welcome!!!
We provide a mic, music stand and a warm, welcoming group of folks who want 
to hear your stuff.  If you have questions or have a LARGE SET UP/need lots 
of space, please contact us for more information at: Pandora Scooter

Sign-Up begins around 7:45 pm.  Open-Mic from 8:00 to around 8:50 pm.  Then 
feature.  Followed by more Open-Mic 'til around 10:00 pm.  Depending upon the 
number of folks who show, each open-mic-er gets about 5 minutes.

4. WOMEN'S COFFEE HOUSE - February 1st
The featured performer at the Pride Center's February Women's Coffee House 
will be Sharleen Leahey, founder of Songs for Peace.  She was most recently 
the featured performer for Bluestockings Women's Book Store in NYC. Come hear 
some originals and classics too!  Saturday February 1st from 7:00 pm to 10:00 
pm. Coffee, Soda and Snacks!  $5 donation.

5. SINGLE MEN'S VALENTINE'S PARTY
Guys!   You are invited to come to a Single Men's Valentine's Party at the 
Pride Center on Friday February 7th at 8:00 PM.  Delicious refreshments and 
music for your enjoyment. Come meet a new friend or just come hang out with 
the guys.  Donations of food are welcome!   Bring a few friends!  Donation: 
$5. 

6. TUESDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES - January 28
The Pride Center's "Tuesday Group" AKA Lesbians & Gay Men of New Brunswick 
will meet at 8 PM on Tuesday January 28th.  All are welcome. We will be 
showing that recent gay hit "The Fluffer"!  Come hang out and share some of 
the decidedly non-healthy refreshments provided. 

7. CLUBFEST IS COMING BACK! - May 10th
You've either been there or you've heard of it - an original Pride Center 
event - Clubfest!    It's coming back better than ever on Saturday May 10th.  
It's a night of partying, live entertainment, recreation and fun!   A night 
to practice your dribble, show off your backstroke,  play doubles, steam it 
up or just hang out at the bar. Watch for details of entertainment and 
activities!  Volunteers are needed for this year's committee!  

8. OTHER EVENTS!
Please refer to the Pride Center of NJ website for information about the many 
other groups and organizations you may be interested in.  Meet new friends, 
get involved!
Call the Pride Center if you can volunteer!   Don't sit home all winter!
