1. ARGONAUTS HOST FUNDRAISER - Aug 27
Please join the Argonauts at CRUSIN'S in Asbury Park,
NJ on Saturday August 27 at 10 PM. 50/50 proceeds to
benefit the Pride Center of NJ. Got Leather? Wear it!

2. JERSEY CITY PRIDE FESTIVAL - Aug 27
“One American Dream", the Jersey City 5th Annual LGBTI
Pride Festival will take place on August 27, 2005 from
12-8pm at Exchange Place, Downtown Jersey City, On the
Waterfront

3. PRIDE CENTER PICNIC - Sept 17
PCNJ's 4th Annual PICNIC at Rutgers Gardens!
Sept. 17, 12 - 6pm.
$18 members, $25 non-members,
Children under 6 are free

4. CAPITAL RAINBOWFEST - Sept 18
Trenton, August 18 -- Capital Rainbowfest IV, New
Jersey's Classic Fall Pride Event, returns to Mill
Hill Park for the fourth year this September 18 from
noon until 6 p.m.

Vendors, exhibitors, food, fun and displays of
interest to the gay, lesbian, transgendered, bisexual
and intersexed (GLTBI) communities of New Jersey and
eastern Pennsylvania will again fill the park with
festive cheer, while new attractions offer added
appeal to both first-time and veteran visitors.

The festival is open to all; the $5 suggested donation
supports the ongoing work of Capital Rainbowfest.
Vendors, exhibitors, donors and volunteers are still
being actively enlisted; please visit

support this 501(c)(3)-registered organization.


5. Herspanic History Celebration - Oct 29
October 29, 3 - 7pm in the LOFT
African Asian Latina Lesbians United along with
Rutgers University, William Patterson University and
The Pride Center of NJ proudly Presents
1st Annual
Herspanic Heritage Celebration Honoring Carmen Vasquez


6. HELP SECURE THE FUTURE OF GAY LIFE IN NJ
BUY A BRICK FOR OUR FUTURE HOME
Your Name, Firm or Organization will be engraved on
either an actual brick in the walkway to the building,
or a wall in the entrance. All funds will be held in
an interest bearing escrow account, to be used
exclusively for the purchase of a building, until such
time as we have secured enough funding for the
project.
Please contribute $500 one-time, or $45 each month for
a year to fund the project. Each donor will receive
one pin (pictured above), and the chance to make a
difference in the future. Whether a youth drop-in
center or a senior social club, your donation insures
a community center for generations now and to come.

7. Music By Nicole - Oct 1
The next Pride Center Women's Coffee House will take
place on Saturday, October 1st from 7 PM to 10 PM.
Featuring: Music by Nicole
Fun music guaranteed to get
you dancing!
. Nicole D’Angelo, an accomplished
musician, has been performing for audiences all her
life. Her professional career took off eight years
ago as she began playing the New Jersey Shore circuit.

8. PRIDE CENTER GAMES NIGHTS - 3rd Tuesdays
Looking for a fun way to meet people in a social
atmosphere? Like to play board games? Come to the
Pride Center Game Night! We play party games, word
games, strategy games... bring your favorite, or learn
to play a new game from our large collection! All are
welcome!
Game Nights are held on the third Tuesday of each
month at the Pride Center in New Brunswick, NJ. We
start around 7:30pm and wrap up around 9:30pm.
