1. THE PRIDE CENTER HAS A NEW HOME!
The Pride Center of New Jersey is now at our new home
in Highland Park! Please stop by and see the new
comfortable and inviting facility right on Raritan
Avenue (Route 27). New Address: 321 Raritan Avenue,
Highland Park, NJ. 2nd Floor of the Franklin Feld
Building. Next to PJ's Coffee House,
1/2 block north of Charlie Brown's Restaurant

2. YOUTH DROP-IN
Every Second and Forth Saturday of the month is the
Youth Drop-in at the Pride Center. Youth from ages
17 and under come in this safe and private atmosphere
where they can talk about experiences, situations and
feelings with their peers. The Group is Moderated by
an Adult volunteer. It runs from 1 PM to 4pm. For
more information, call the center and leave a message
for the Youth Program.

Conference
Creating Change: Awakening Our Political & Social
Consciousness

Saturday & Sunday, March 1 - 2, 2008
Rutgers University, Newark NJ
This two-day conference will include a panel
discussion, keynote
speaker as well as provide enlightening workshops that
will address our intellectual, political, emotional,
social and spiritual being. It will focus on the
uniqueness of our diversity as well as our individual
strengths. The days will include several empowering
workshops addressing these topics of interest and
concerns for women, as well as entertainment, arts and
so much more.

Workshop topics will include sex and sexuality,
spirituality, labor issues, legal concerns, racism,
sexism among women, bi-cultural relationships,
community violence, mental and physical health & well
being, parenting/adoption/family issues, finance and
real estate. The Women of color film festival will
also be featured.

Each registered participant will receive free valuable
give-a ways just for attending this event. Breakfast
and lunch will be provided.
