2. MUSICfest

PCNJ presents MUSICfest 2008!

Saturday, November 22

at The Den

Along with six other musicians!

$20 Pride Center members
$25 non-members. 

3. DAD'S GROUP
A new group has formed at the Pride Center - the Gay Dad's Support and Discussion Group. In the continuing expansion of the Pride Center's services, the new group has been created. It is an off-shoot of the regular Wednesday night Coming Out Group. The Gay Dad's Group meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at the same time as the Coming Out Group in a separate room, 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm.  Discussions range from how to raise kids as a Gay Dad, how to come out to your kids and how to deal with your spouse or ex-spouse in relation to your kids. The group has gotten off to a great start and presently there are about 8-12 Gay Dads who attend each session. On weeks when the Gay Dads's Group is not meeting, members participate in the Coming Out Group.

4. FREE HIV TESTING at PCNJ
The Pride Center of New Jersey, in conjunction with Robert Wood
Johnson, is pleased to announce that we will be offering HIV testing
services. Testing will be offered the second
Tuesday of every month between 7 and 9 PM at our location in Highland
Park. Testing is free and confidential, and results will be received
within 15-20 minutes. A free counseling session is also available for
anyone who tests positive. Both appointments and walk-ins are welcome.
