8. HYACINTH BENEFIT - Apr 16

Hyacinth AIDS Foundation invites you to attend the Thursday, April 16, benefit performance of the sophisticated new comedy "New Year's Eve" at George Street Playhouse, 9 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick. Marlo Thomas stars in this world premiere by Tony Award-winning playwright Arthur Laurents. Tickets for this performance are $60 and include a catered pre-curtain reception and the play, followed by a discussion with members of the playhouse staff.
In "New Year's Eve," Gil, a successful playwright, and Isabel, an actress, struggle to be happy in their open marriage. When their daughter rises to fame as an actress in her own right, questions arise about her famous parents, including her father's not-so-innocent relationship with Justin, the family accountant.
All proceeds benefit the men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in New Jersey. To make reservations call Hyacinth's director of fundraising, Patrick Bocco, at 732-246-0204, ext. 256, or send an email to: pbocco (AT) hyacinth.org
