1. Art's Adventures!


Dear LGBT 
Community and Friend,The Pride 
Center of New Jersey announces the formation of a new program,  ARTS 
ADVENTURES.   Our goal is to provide opportunities for members and  friends to 
participate with others in attending a variety of cultural events (i.e. theater, 
museums, galleries, concerts, opera and dance).  



Announcements 
about upcoming events will be periodically sent by e-mail.  If you are 
interested in being on the ARTS ADVENTURES e-mail list, send your name and

2. FACT AIDS Walk

GET READY TO WALK
    The 10th Annual FACT AIDS Walk 
will be THIS SUNDAY, Sept. 27, in New Hope.  Registration is at 
9 a.m. for the 10K (6.2-mile) walk, which starts at the New Hope-Solebury High 
School and follows a scenic route into Lambertville, Stockton, and back to the 
high school.  This is a major fundraiser for FACT Bucks County ("Fighting AIDS 
Continuously Together"), a group that serves as a lifeline of support for those 
affected by HIV and AIDS in Bucks, Hunterdon, and Mercer counties.
   What 
can you do?  You can walk, you can run, you can form a team with friends or 
co-workers, or you can volunteer to assist the organizers.  Go to FACT's website 
at "www DOT factbuckscounty DOT org" to print out a registration/sponsor form, 
then sign up your sponsors and collect their donations before you walk.  Find 
out if your employer has a matching gift program which can double or triple your 
fund-raising!  Volunteers are encouraged to pre-register in advance (if 
possible) by calling 215-862-3325.
   The group is also looking for donations 
of items that can be used to reward walkers or for raffle prizes.

have questions, want to donate an item, or want to volunteer, call 
215-862-3325.  At 9 a.m. this Sunday, Sept. 27, walkers and runners should 
bring their registration/sponsor forms, and the donations they collected, to New 
Hope-Solebury High School, located on Route 179 (West Bridge Street), about a 
half-mile west of the traffic light at Bridge and Main streets in New Hope.

4. Men's Hallowween Party

    The Pride Center of NJ Men's Guild presents a men's twilight Halloween 
party, from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Den nightclub, 
700 Hamilton St. in Somerset.  "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" movie will be 
shown, and there will be a supper buffet, a costume parade and lots more, 
including prizes for the best costumes.  Tickets are $25 in advance or $35 at 
the door.  For advance tickets, send a check made out to "PCNJ" for $25 per 
person with your contact info to GP, P.O. Box 1381, Highland Park, NJ 08904.
